The lodge is situated within a quiet area of natural beauty, but isn't too far from the A39 giving easy access to getting around North Cornwall and Devon and all it has to offer.
The village of Kilkhampton, is within a short walk which has a pub, shops (book swap at the Spa), hairdressers, takeaways, butchers etc, a church and a beautiful walk over “Kilkhampton Common”.
Tamar Lakes is just an 8 minute drive away for water sport lovers and keen fishermen. There is a small selection of bikes for hire for a slow ample around the lake, which takes around 45 minutes. You can also find a cafe and small gift shop with a selection of 2nd hand books.
The Little pig is just a mile away for those keen to fish, this also has a cafe/restaurant offering lovely fresh food, Sunday roasts and small gift shop and fresh produce can be purchased.
Bude is just 5 miles away with its sea, river and canal merging into one, and an array of shops, tennis courts, putting green, golf course, surfing, artisan markets, ten pin bowling, cinema, castle, crazy golf, museum, boating, cycle hire, indoor swimming and many beaches and restaurants.
Just 15-30 minutes away will find the “Milky Way Adventure”, North Devon Wake Park, Hartland Abbey, The Rectory Farm Tea shop with wonderful coastal walks, Clovelly, The Big Sheep to name just a few.
