Visiting from Oz and touring Cornwall.
We booked direct with the owner and was delighted with the lodge. We were welcomed with a cake, juice, tea and coffee and a lovely bunch of flowers. The lodge is immaculate and beautifully decorated with plenty of space. Beds are comfortable and we loved the quality of the bedding.
There are lots of areas to relax in, lounge, sunroom and outdoor patio setting. There is plenty to do come rain or shine with lots of beaches to choose from and wonderful coastal walks too in the area. The views from the lodge are spectacular, not only during the day but at sunset too. Nothing like a nice glass of wine and dinner outside looking over at the sun setting.

We have loved our trip and hope to visit again in the next few years and will recommend the lodge to our family and friends.

The accommodation was superb.

We recommend a day trip to Port Issac (Doc Martin fishing village), only 30 minutes away. We enjoyed a cream tea in The Old Schoolhouse, which was beautiful and very reasonably priced too!

We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed some sunshine on the garden terrace with spectacular views!

We truly had a memorable stay and would love to go back another time.

We’ve both enjoyed a lovely week’s stay in your beautiful Lodge. It is very welcoming, spacious, very clean and has everything you need. It is very cosy and well furnished. We enjoyed sitting on the patio outside relaxing and taking in the view. Our week started off with gorgeous sunshine with rain towards the last few days but this didn’t stop us getting out and about around Bude. We visited lots of places including Port Isaac, Clovelly, Crooklets Beach, Tintagel, Boscastle and The Eden Project. We took a walk along the coastal path and on one evening went to the local Cinema! The Lodge is situated in a lovely corner of The Coombe with excellent views out to the sea. The weather was very kind to us so when the conservatory was too hot we could go and sit on the patio and get even closer to nature.
Inside we had everything we needed and it was very comfortable in a modern and tasteful atmosphere which allowed us to relax and enjoy our few days here to the maximum.

Thank you both for letting us stay in your beautiful lodge. We arrived intending to have a brilliant time away as friends after a terrible journey and as soon as we walked in we were all shocked about how nicely decorated the lodge was. The beds were super comfy and the modern touch to the place really lights the lodge up. We were even lucky to get to the beach one of the days despite the bad weather and had took the buckets and spades that were provided by yourselves in the lock up box outside. We had visited Boscastle and Bude Town centre. When the sun was setting down each night, we had a lovely view from the conservatory where ourselves sat for the night and chilled out playing games and felt like we were just at home. We were also pleasantly surprised by the welcome packages we had received upon arrival. We will definitely be staying here again in the upcoming future and will definitely recommend to family and friends.

Such a lovely lodge and we have really enjoyed our stay. We have enjoyed visiting many of our old favourites in North Cornwall Sandymouth, Northcott, Boscastle, Crackington Haven, and of course Bude!
This is our first time at Coombe Valley view and we can’t wait to come back. Thank you for your attention to detail comfy furnishings and responsiveness when contacting you. We’ve had a great time. Looking forward to 2024 already.

We had a wonderful time staying in Coombe Valley View! What a calm and peaceful location, yet just a short scenic drive from so much! Particular highlights were the comfy beds, sundappled sunroom and well equipped kitchen. This was also (Mike‘s daughters) first time in Cornwall, I especially loved the surrounding area for walks and countryside views! It’s definitely taken me away from the hustle and bustle of London, and I’d love to come back - until next time Mike, Felicity, Emma and Jeanette.

9-15th Sept 23 (3rd visit)
I have just returned from my third visit to No.2 Coombe Valley View lodge. I have enjoyed each holiday and this lovely lodge is perfect to both relax in and enjoy all that the north Cornwall coast has to offer. The lodge has everything that you can wish for, all modern and very clean. The owners have put a lot of thought into what they provide. The sunsets down the valley and out to sea are magnificent all witnessed from the lodges patio. The weather was so lovely this visit that we spent more time swimming and paddle boarding in the sea at Bude and other local beaches rather than using the on-site leisure facilities. I’m looking forward to returning again next spring. I can highly recommend this lodge, the welcome provided by the owners, the cleanliness and attention to detail makes a holiday and creates lasting memories.
