Terms and Conditions

  1. To “BOOK” please click here by completing the enquiry/booking form.
    All offers of accommodation are subject to availability and firm bookings cannot be accepted until a 30% non-refundable deposit has been received, (the full amount if your holiday is within 8 weeks). On receipt, we will confirm your booking by email. Your balance payment will be due 8 weeks prior to your arrival, plus a £200 housekeeping bond (fully refundable within 7 days of departure if the property is returned as found on arrival). Payments are non-refundable unless we are able to re-let your booking. In which case we will refund any monies you have paid to us, less any difference in the amount we have received from the replacement booking plus a £60 admin fee.
    We strongly recommend taking out HOLIDAY INSURANCE.
  2. Reservations commence at 4.00pm on the day of arrival, terminating at 10.00am on the day of departure.
  3. Should you not have vacated the lodge by 10am on your departure day we reserve the right to charge £30 for each additional 1/2 hour that the housekeeper is delayed. This will be deducted from your housekeeping bond.
  4. NO PETS, HEN/STAG PARTIES, or persons in excess of the number agreed at the time of the booking. Breach of this will terminate the contract, without recompense. 
  5. NO SMOKING or VAPING is allowed inside the lodge at any time, in accordance with the 2007 smoking ban for enclosed areas. 
  6. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your reservation due to circumstances beyond our control we will provide a full refund of monies paid. No further financial claims will be considered.
  7. No liability shall be accepted by us for loss, damage or theft of personal property belonging to guests, either in the property or in/to cars, bicycles or other vehicles left on the property. Nor shall liability be accepted by us for accident or injury to guests, either within the property or outside.
  8. Unfortunately we cannot take any responsibility for any items left at the lodge. If found, it may be possible to make some special arrangements for returning the lost items at your cost. Any perishable/cosmetic products are disposed on checkout day by the housekeeper. 
  9. Any keys lost will incur a £25 replacement for each key. We recommend putting the keys in the key safe when you go out for the day.
  10. Every endeavour will have been made to make your holiday accommodation comfortable. Please inform us ASAP if you have any concerns so that we will have the opportunity to put this right. Quality checks are carried out regularly.
  11. £15-£20 of Electric is provided on arrival (which is usually sufficient for a week’s holiday in warmer months).  Electricity is provided by meter card which can be purchased on-site. (Full details will be provided in your welcome pack).  A little archaic, but something that is set up by the park owners, that we have no control over to change.
  12. To comply with fire regulations/fire risk assessment, No naked flames (candles), bbq’s. Guests own appliances should NOT left plugged in and unattended. No charging of e-bike/scooter batteries or bikes/scooters inside the lodge (use external lodge socket). Please do not bring own heaters/fans as these will not have been PAT tested. Fire exits in bedrooms are low level windows, these may not be suitable for less mobile guests. 
  13. Please remember towels are Not included in your booking

PRIVACY POLICY 
We take our guests privacy seriously and are registered with the ICO, registration no. ZB571022. Your booking form will be deleted from our devices once the housekeeping bond has been returned.
We would however, like to retain your name and telephone number to allow us to ‘text’ you should we have future offers regarding “Coombe Valley View” lodge.  Should you NOT wish us to do so, please let us know on the booking form, or alternatively email us at info@coombevalleyview.co.uk
